Caisson Drilling Services

I & Y Construction offers caisson drilling services in Pennsylvania and the surrounding states. Specializing in drilled caissons, our team of operators and drillers has experience in earth and rock augering as well as rock coring.

Standard size shafts range in diameter from 24” to 48” and to depths up to 28’ deep. We have a Texoma500 truck- mounted drill rig. Our complimentary equipment includes rock and earth augers, core barrels, mud buckets, and temporary steel casings.

Foundation Services

I & Y Construction has done extensive foundation work for sports lighting foundations, parking lot lighting foundations, scoreboard foundations, and stadium bleacher foundations.

Our experience with sports lighting installations has enabled us to adapt to each unique site’s requirements and install lighting foundations in one of two ways. One method is through the use of pre-manufactured precast concrete solutions, and the other is with the use of site specific engineered foundations which are constructed on site. This type of foundation consists of poured in place concrete that is reinforced with extensive rebar cages and anchor bolts.

I & Y Construction has extensive working knowledge and construction experience in engineered foundation designs such as spread footers and inverted footers, and we also have the expertise and experience in installing concrete pads and concrete piers above and below grade.
